Each Wednesday in Alder we bring live sounds of global funk to accompany your meal. This week is led by João Leão.
Toronto based Brazilian musician and producer João Leão brings a fresh perspective to iconic Brazilian gems, from the Bossa Nova and Tropicália classics to contemporary indie hits. With a soothing voice and funky electric piano chops, João’s trio delivers a classy and uplifting repertoire with all of the warmth and swag of the Brazilian spirit, covering artists such as Jobim, Jorge Ben, Marcos Valle, João Donato, and many others.
The show begins at 6:00pm in Alder. Reservations encouraged.
