Brain Chamber : 001

Brain Chamber 001 is a creative incubation partnership between Ace Hotel Toronto and Futures and Fringes — a creator development series that invites curious guests into the creative process of an emerging artist, designer, or brand.

This inaugural session features Gian Coballes of DENIM DEALER, who will take us through his fashion journey and creative process centered around the theme: “Finding Home in Your Travels.”

Each Brain Chamber is a curated, collaborative experience shaped by both the host and a small group of selected attendees. If you identify as an artist, designer, maker, producer, or creative, we invite you to submit a Creative Intent Form to express interest in participating. Capacity is limited to 8–15 participants.

This intimate, hands-on workshop offers a rare opportunity to connect, learn, and create alongside emerging local talent. Together, we’ll explore tokens of travel and home through the making of bag charms, keychains, and bandanas — using denim, a globally recognized material, as our starting point.
