Get down to the sounds with Vinyl Nights – celebrating NYC dance, music, club & DJ culture. Experience what is was like to party in NYC in the early 70’s, 80’s & 90’s when DJ’s played strictly Vinyl. Dance to the hits that shaped NYC club culture with Native New Yorkers, artists & music lovers. Disco, Funk & Soul, House, Boogie, Latin & 80’s & 90’s Hip Hop, All on Vinyl.

The party spun off from the legendary Mobile Mondays! all 45’s night. It’s a vibrant, joyful, inclusive dance party & true representation of NYC. It’s a celebration of “Everything New York” produced by Rebecca Lynn.

About –

London-born Misbehaviour has been rocking parties across the Globe since 1989, moving to Brooklyn in 1999.  In 2017 a video of Misbehaviour djing Uptown Bounce at The Museum of the City of New York went Viral and accumulated over 27M views. She has performed alongside such legends as Roy Ayers, Just Blaze, Biz Markie, Redman & Method Man and Sister Nancy in collaboration with Summerstage.  She is a resident at Mobile Mondays!, Vinyl Nights at Hudson Yards and Flippers Roller Rink at Rockefeller Plaza. Misbehaviour was recently featured in The NYT Metro section for their “Sunday Routine” series and has been a special guest on Hot 97 & Sirius XM. In demand overseas she was performed in Australia for The Sydney Festival, London, The Carribean & Europe.

Rebecca Lynn (curator) – Native New Yorker, event producer, publicist, party planner, whistle blower & dancing Queen.  For over 10 years Rebecca Lynn has been spreading her eclectic magic around the city. Her love of nightlife, music, fashion, pop culture & people has inspired her to create authentic events.

With this seminal exhibition, Tomorrow’s Garden, we glimpse through a keyhole. Behind the door is an imagined, futuristic world where the overuse of plastic melted into nature and created new species of bioplastic lifeforms. An enchanted oyster lies in the ocean with aquatic creatures and flora. A hanging abstract, bioplastic jellyfish illuminates an underwater world, a forest where hybrid amphibians and fairies tend to the changed planet.
