Sensitive Lil’ Thang: An Installation by Quiana Parks
- 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm | Wednesday March 25, 2026 - Thursday March 26, 2026
- Suite | Ace Hotel Brooklyn
- Free
Sensitive Lil’ Thang is an intimate two-day installation by Quiana Parks exploring emotional sensitivity as both a personal and collective experience. Originally conceived as a sensory installation, the project unfolds inside a hotel suite at Ace Hotel Brooklyn, transforming a private room into a temporary space for reflection, vulnerability, and release.
The installation features a new painting by Quiana Parks alongside a pair of speakers by Better Listening designed by David Sonubi that function as both sculptural objects and sound sources. Projected collage and concept video work fill the room, creating a visual dialogue between image, sound, and memory while examining how emotional experiences are stored and expressed.
This is a self-guided experience. Quiana Parks will not be present during viewing sessions.
Entry is offered in limited, timed sessions to preserve the intimacy of the space. Each session runs approximately 45 minutes.
Advance RSVP is required. Please arrive at the start of your selected time slot. Late entry may not be accommodated.
