Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and remixer Matthew Law has made his mark as part of Fool’s Gold Records alongside A-Trak and as a resident DJ on East Village Radio (Law’s Lair, Saturdays 2–4pm ET). Known for his deep musical knowledge and versatility, he’s shared stages with Questlove, Jazzy Jeff, Benji B, Waajeed, SG Lewis, and more, while also serving as tour DJ for Grammy Award–winner Jazmine Sullivan.

As a producer, Law draws from club, broken beat, and house—sounds closest to his heartbeat. His debut Rumble EP earned critical acclaim, with placements on HBO’s Southside, and he’s released music on Fool’s Gold, Sony, and K7!/Planet E. His collaborations include the single I Call Her with Seven Davis Jr., and his 2024 live electronic piece Sustainable Dystopia premiered at King Britt’s Blacktronika Festival.

Touring the U.S., Europe, and Asia since 2011, Law continues to push boundaries as a respected selector, Illvibe Collective member, and founder of the party series FRIENDS N FAM.
