Deep cuts from around the globe: join deep diggers and selecters sharing their favorite deep cuts and local hits from around the world. In July, Modrums invites Matük to join him at the booth. The Brooklyn based Colombian producer and multi instrumentalist blends synthesizers and drum machines with percussion, rhythms and melodies inspired by a wide range of styles from the global south, mainly Latin America and the Caribbean.

modrums (Morgan Greenstreet) is a producer, DJ, musician and journalist. Morgan currently produces and performs original music with Lollise (Botswana/NYC) Loboko (DRC/NYC) and Delasi (Ghana) and consistently DJs around New York City. He is a resident of the Zona Libre party.

In partnership with Ace Hotel Artist in Residence, Powerhouse Arts (PHA) is pleased to co-present Gallerina: Do Not Disturb a self-reflective multiverse that artist, Lauren Cohen, started in 2022. Cohen will participate as Artist in Residence, occupying a hotel guest room as a temporary studio, during the month of August.
