PACHYMAN LIVE IN JAPAN 2026

Pachyman, the solo project of Puerto Rican-born, Los Angeles-based musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Pachy García, is coming to Japan for the first time.

Blending roots reggae and 1970s Jamaican dub with psychedelic, indie, electronic, soul, jazz, and synth-pop influences, Pachyman creates warm, immersive sounds and deep, danceable grooves.

Based at his own studio, 333 House, in Los Angeles, Pachyman plays and records almost every instrument himself, including drums, bass, keyboards, and guitar. His music is shaped by vintage equipment, tape, delay, and reverb, creating a rich and distinctive sound.

Since releasing music with ATO Records in 2021, Pachyman has continued to expand his sound. His latest album, Another Place (2025), explores new territory while staying rooted in reggae and dub. He has also toured as support for Khruangbin and shared a North American co-headlining tour with Stones Throw artist Mndsgn.

Live, Pachyman brings his studio approach to the stage, mixing and reshaping his music in real time with a mixing console, faders, delays, and reverbs. The result is an immersive performance full of improvisation, movement, and groove.
