Odyssey | Midland + Enrica Falqui

Odyssey is our once-a-month function by the sea, in partnership with Plissken, bringing together musicians, artists and wellness experts at Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens for a day-long celebration of renegade creativity.

This September, the musical journey features legendary British producer Midland and Italian producer Enrica Falqui. What is more, She’s Lost Control brings us conscious experiences with modern-day energy healer and Reiki Master, Nieve Tierney.

From afternoon light to evening stars, Odyssey is your monthly escape into the mythic and the modern.

Through his productions, DJ sets, and record labels, Midland has carved a reputation for being unassuming and surprising in equal measure—at once subtle, refined, and totally raucous.

As a producer, his sound has continuously evolved while remaining unmistakably his own. From his debut with Pearson Sound (“Your Words Matter”) to the euphoric “Final Credits,” voted Mixmag’s Song of the Year in 2016, Midland has demonstrated a keen sense for both the dancefloor and emotional nuance. His labels—Graded, ReGraded, and InterGraded—serve as platforms for both his work and the voices of emerging artists.

He has remixed the likes of Dua Lipa, The Chemical Brothers, St. Vincent, and Darkstar, but it’s as a DJ that he’s made his deepest impact. Famed for his seamless style-hopping and sensitive command of space and energy, Midland’s sets have earned him accolades including Essential Mix of the Year (BBC Radio 1) and Mixmag’s Compilation of the Year for Fabriclive94.

In 2024, he released his debut album Fragments of Us, a bold, emotionally resonant work featuring voices like David Wojnarowicz, Marlon Riggs, and Arthur Russell. The album drew critical acclaim, landing in year-end lists from Resident Advisor, Mixmag, and DJ Mag.

Quietly and consistently, Midland remains one of electronic music’s most respected and adventurous artists—always in motion, always listening.

About Enrica Falqui

Enrica Falqui, a versatile producer and DJ hailing from Sardinia and now based in Berlin, immerses herself in a ceaseless exploration of sound. Her sonic journey traverses the realms of techno, electro, and ambient with unwavering dedication

In July 2021, Enrica unveiled her inaugural solo EP, “Plexus,” under the esteemed UK label Marginal Returns. This release masterfully bridges the gap between her ethereal ambient compositions and the pulsating energy of the dance floor.

As one half of the dynamic duo ERIS, Enrica collaborated on their debut EP, “Moments,” released on Japan’s Cabaret Recordings in 2018. This was followed by their sophomore effort, “Champions League,” in 2019. Notably, their track “Moloko” earned acclaim, securing a spot among Resident Advisor’s best tracks of 2019.

Enrica also contributes her talents to the Yhdessa project alongside Grand River. Together, they weave a vibrant tapestry of experimental ambient-electro fusion, seamlessly transitioning from immersive soundscapes to infectious breakbeats and abstract techno.

Fueled by an insatiable passion for sonic exploration, Enrica thrives in the studio environment, where she spends countless hours refining her craft, experimenting with new techniques, and sculpting sounds that resonate with depth and emotion.
