Marjorine is the musical outlet of Brooklyn based artist Nicholas Comaratta. Since moving to New York, Nicholas has played in various psychedelic rock bands and collaborated with a variety of electronic artists and DJs on DIY events. He currently is the main creative force behind Marjorine, a moniker he uses for his unique blend of psych and krautrock as well as his curations as a DJ. He also performs with NoFun, deartongue, and Duel Ferns and books and produces events at the new Gowanus studio The Dark Room.

Ace Artist-in-Residence: Pied-à-Terre by Alex Yudzon at A!R

Alex Yudzon has spent the past decade transforming hotel rooms into temporary studios, sculptural playgrounds, and photographic stages. Known for his idiosyncratic approach—constructing elaborate installations using only the furniture and objects found within each room—Yudzon captures these ephemeral compositions in a single photograph before dismantling the evidence and checking out.
