About Kaz James

Kaz James is a world-renowned DJ, producer, and label boss who is known for his own unique and distinct musical sound. Hailing from the vibrant streets of Melbourne, he soaked up influences from his stepfather’s eclectic vinyl collection. But Kaz didn’t just listen; he mastered the art of the turntables, making his way through Australia’s underground circuit. It wasn’t long before his raw talent caught the attention of the legendary Frankie Knuckles, who handpicked Kaz to open for his sets in Ibiza and across Europe.

Since then, his rise to international stardom has been exponential. From his time at the much-loved Sunday’s at Scorpios Mykonos to his current “Wednesday” residency at the legendary Alemagou. But Kaz’s talents don’t stop at the turntables. As a producer, he’s crafted an impressive arsenal of hits, including chart-toppers like “Not In Love,” “Stronger,” “Paradise,” and last year’s summer anthem, “Footprints.” Which had continued international support from the likes of Black Coffee, Keinemusik and many more.

Now firmly established in the electronic music scene, Kaz has exciting plans for 2024, including new releases on labels like Rufus Du Sol’s “Rose Avenue” and Germany’s “Kompakt”. Plus his very own recent label imprint, ‘Krushes’, in partnership with Warner Music Group, with upcoming releases and events featuring many amazing artists from around the world.
